Edwards Eyewear: Stylish Quality Optical Products

The great thing about wearing glasses is that you can select their style to suit your mood, activities and wardrobe. Having one pair restricts this choice and it's remarkable how a simple change of specs can alter one's look.

I wear glasses from Edwards Eyewear

A few years ago I decided to try clear-framed glasses and immediately liked them. They look lighter on the face than coloured frames and seem to suit grey hair well. I was recently offered a pair of spectacles by Edwards Eyewear and knew at once what my choice would be. 

Edwards Eyewear was founded in 2019 by optometrist Edward Lyons and World Champion Clay shotgun shooter Edward Solomons, giving a distinct sporting theme to the brand. In my experience it can be hard to find optometrists with that important mix of optical experience and an offering of stylish and high quality frames.

Their collection consists of British and Italian made frames. I selected a clear 'Ice Crystal' frame from their Italian Bergamo collection (nothing suitable and British-made was available). The Bergamo frames come in a variety of colours and tortoiseshell and are unisex. They have a distinctive vintage look which I like. The British collection frames are limited editions, very distinctive in style and are hand made in Norfolk. 

All are available with prescription lenses and as sunglasses. With many years of optometry experience, Edwards Eyewear produce high quality lenses. My glasses fit perfectly and are optically perfect as you'd expect.
