Pocket Chief - pocket squares made in England

One of the great privileges of blogging is discovering new menswear labels and it's always a pleasure to find those designing and manufacturing in the UK. Pocket Chief was started earlier this year by Becky Symes and her partner who had corporate and marketing backgrounds and felt that there needed to be a wider range of pocket squares available.

Becky told me:
"We felt the need to create something that was more than just a product, something that was more of a reminder of an attitude to life. We found our inspiration in Native American culture where a courageous forward-thinking character is heavily regarded.
The products were designed with the help of young designers, the silk printed in Worcestershire and sewn in Cheshire. The packaging is all environmentally sustainable and produced using another start-up business. The vision is to expand into other accessories; socks, ties and eventually leather goods and cufflinks".

Paisley and polka dots certainly have an honourable place in my breast pocket, but it's often refreshing to wear something a bit different. Pocket Chief's native-American inspired designs contain a story and, if, like me, you like to whip out your hank to show it to admirers, there's plenty to chat about here.
