Peregrine - yet more British quality

Peregrine is the trade name of J.G. Glover and Co. Ltd, a family company with over 200 years experience in producing knitwear in the UK and which is still in the eighth generation of the same family. They make all sorts of exciting British-made products. We see Harris tweed, British Millerain waxed cotton, traditional knits and a range of accessories.

I see that Peregrine have a competition until 24th December on Facebook where followers can win a 100% Merino Wool Mountain Shawl Jumper. See on Facebook and Twitter.

I recently found this mouse-brown Shetland jumper, made by Peregrine, in the Joe Casely-Hayford for John Lewis range. It's been added to my ever-increasing Christmas list.

Joe Caseley-Hayford for John Lewis - Shetland jumper, brown flecked with white
To prove the age of the business, here are some photographs of the old factory -

You want a payrise?
And the new factory -

And here are some of their clothes that would suit the man of style, looking for classics. I covet the Norwegian sweater and the brown cable-knit polo -
